Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, songwriter, singer and actress. She's famous for her role as Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as a singer in the The rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen is a 26-year actress born on the 26th of July in 1993. She has a younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first professional performance came when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen was on hiatus in her career over three years prior to being selected as the main character in Misconceptions, a WB television show. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh, a 2006 movie. Additionally, she was among the top three contenders for Hannah Montana's main role. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the title role.
